Who runs Hard Rock Bet Casino
The Seminole Tribe of Florida bought Hard Rock International in 2007, and its digital arm, Seminole Hard Rock Digital, runs the group’s online betting products from Davie, Florida. Hard Rock Bet names both the sportsbook and the casino. The sportsbook reaches more states, while the online casino runs only where a state licenses internet casino games.
That leaves one of this guide’s three states. West Virginia has no Hard Rock Bet Casino, despite frequent searches for one. Players there will find the national brands tied to racinos such as Charles Town and Mountaineer, listed in the West Virginia online guide, where each brand carries its own state terms line and helpline.
Licenses in New Jersey and Michigan
In New Jersey the casino runs on the internet gaming license of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, which opened in June 2018 in the rebuilt former Trump Taj Mahal. The online casino followed on July 3, 2018. The same license also hosts bet365, a separately owned brand covered in the bet365 Casino review.
Michigan arrived on December 2, 2025, when the Gaming Control Board approved Hard Rock Bet as platform provider for the Hannahville Indian Community, owner of Island Resort & Casino in Harris. The tribe’s online slot had been used by Sports Illustrated’s betting brand. The Michigan online guide explains why the state has commercial and tribal hosts but no racino.
| State | Host license | Regulator | Live since |
|---|---|---|---|
| New Jersey | Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City | Division of Gaming Enforcement | July 3, 2018 |
| Michigan | Hannahville Indian Community (Island Resort & Casino) | Gaming Control Board | December 2, 2025 |
Inside the Hard Rock Bet Casino lobby
Trade coverage of the Michigan launch described thousands of slot titles. By October 2026 the App Store listing gave more than 4,700 games in New Jersey and more than 4,400 in Michigan, with new releases each week. Named titles include Cash Eruption, Huff N’ Puff, Lightning Link High Stakes and exclusive Hard Rock Bet slots.
Live dealer tables cover blackjack, roulette and baccarat, and Michigan players also get Monopoly Live. Digital blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps and video poker fill out the rest. Lobbies differ between the two states because each regulator approves games on its own, so a slot found in Atlantic City may take longer to appear in Michigan.
Hard Rock Bet Casino review of the welcome offer
The welcome package has two parts. A $10 deposit brings 500 Bonus Spins on Cash Eruption worth $0.20 each, valid for seven days, with spin winnings paid as cash. The first 24 hours of slot play are then covered by a lossback: net slot losses come back as casino bonus, up to $1,000.
That bonus must be played through once within 14 days, and wagers on table games, video poker and live dealer games do not count toward it. The structure rewards slot play only, which suits some players less than a plain deposit match. The offers box on this page shows the terms line for New Jersey and for Michigan.
The app, payments and verification
The standalone Hard Rock Bet Casino app arrived on the App Store on September 30, 2025, and showed 4.7 stars from about 17,000 ratings when checked on October 21, 2026. The iPhone download runs to about 128 MB and needs iOS 15.1 or later. The older combined sportsbook app is rated 4.9 from more than 350,000 ratings.
The New Jersey page names debit cards, Apple Pay in the iOS app, Google Pay on Android, PayPal, Venmo, instant and manual bank transfers and cash at the Atlantic City cage. Withdrawals can go to PayPal, Venmo, a bank transfer or the cage. Identity has to be confirmed before the first cash-out is released.
Hard Rock Bet Casino rewards and responsible play
Hard Rock Bet is integrated with Unity, Hard Rock’s global loyalty program. Every casino and sportsbook bet earns Unity Points that can be spent at hotels, cafes, casinos and the Rock Shop. Wagers also earn Level Credits across eight levels, and higher levels bring a larger Unity Point multiplier and better weekly Legendary Reward Drops, opened every Thursday.
The account menu holds the responsible-gaming limits and the self-exclusion option, and setting a limit before the first deposit is the easiest way to keep play inside a budget. Both states also keep their own statewide exclusion lists for anyone who wants a wider block that covers every licensed online casino.
How it compares on the racing side
Neither of the brand’s two casino states links online play to a racetrack. New Jersey’s tracks, Monmouth Park and the Meadowlands, run live racing without slot machines, and Michigan never allowed slot machines at its tracks. Race betting there works through separate pari-mutuel apps, described in the pari-mutuel guide and the New Jersey online guide.
