Rush Street Interactive, the company behind BetRivers
Rush Street Interactive was founded in 2012 and trades on the New York Stock Exchange as RSI. It runs BetRivers across much of the United States and RushBet in Latin America, and says it employs more than 1,000 people. Its second-quarter 2026 results, published on July 29, came with raised full-year guidance.
BetRivers Casino shares one app with the BetRivers sportsbook, so a single account and wallet cover slots, tables and sports bets. That suits players who move between the two, but it puts the casino lobby a tap away from betting markets. Players who only want the casino can stay in that tab and set limits for the whole account.
BetRivers casino licenses: three states, three partners
Each state version of BetRivers Casino runs under somebody else’s license, which is the normal pattern for online casinos in the US, so the regulator’s footer changes when a player crosses a state line. The partners are an Atlantic City casino, a tribal resort in northern Michigan and a racino on the Ohio River.
| State | Regulator | License partner | Live since |
|---|---|---|---|
| New Jersey | Division of Gaming Enforcement | Golden Nugget Hotel Casino and Marina | Listed on the state’s site register |
| Michigan | Gaming Control Board | Little River Band of Ottawa Indians | January 22, 2021 |
| West Virginia | West Virginia Lottery | Mountaineer Park, Inc. | April 12, 2021 |
Michigan opened its online market at noon on January 22, 2021, and BetRivers was among the first brands to take bets, through the tribe that owns Little River Casino Resort in Manistee. In New Jersey the host is Golden Nugget, whose own app is covered in the Golden Nugget online casino review.
Mountaineer: the racino behind BetRivers in West Virginia
West Virginia’s 2019 law gives each casino one online license with three places on it. Century Casinos, which operates Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort, signed a ten-year deal with Rush Street in December 2020 for one of those places. William Hill took the other two, and its casino followed BetRivers into the market a day later.
Mountaineer runs thoroughbred racing on a one-mile dirt oval in New Cumberland, with 125 race dates approved for 2026, and its casino floor holds about 1,300 slot machines. For a West Virginia player, the BetRivers app is the online face of that license. The West Virginia online guide shows how the state’s other racinos split their places.
Welcome offers and the BetRivers Casino promo code
The offers differ by state, which matters more for BetRivers than for most brands. On October 20, 2026, New Jersey, Michigan and West Virginia returned 100% of day-one net casino losses up to $500 as bonus money, plus up to 500 Bonus Spins. The Michigan online guide and the offers box on this page carry the exact terms.
West Virginia is the one state where a promo code mattered: the first deposit of $10 or more had to use the code PLAY or WELCOME, and no other state listed a promo code. Bonus money carries a 1x playthrough everywhere. Spins come in daily batches of 50, and each batch expires 24 hours after it lands.
Games, jackpots and live tables
Rush Street says its platform carries more than 5,500 online casino games, and the BetRivers lobby draws on that library state by state. The app promotes slots such as Cash Eruption, Capital Gains and 88 Fortunes, from penny games to high-stakes progressives, plus video poker and RNG blackjack, roulette and baccarat.
The live section lists blackjack, baccarat, roulette and Crazy Time. BetRivers also runs its own extras: Rush Jackpot, Wheel Spins and casino bingo. Excluded games matter for bonus play, because the welcome terms rule out craps, sic bo, Dragon Tiger, War and several game-show titles, so a player who mostly sits at live tables gets little from the offer.
Deposits, withdrawals and BetRivers Debit
The welcome offers need a first deposit of at least $10, and the cashier shows the methods approved in the player’s state. In September 2025 Rush Street and Sightline Payments launched BetRivers Debit, which the companies called the industry’s first integrated debit card: it lets a player spend the available account balance directly, with FDIC insurance coverage.
On withdrawals, the operator states that over 75% of requests are approved instantly, with the rest going through manual review. Approval is only the first step; how fast money then reaches the player depends on the method and the bank. Verifying identity before the first cash-out request avoids the most common delay.
The BetRivers casino app and iRush Rewards
The combined BetRivers Casino and sportsbook app had 4.9 stars from 51,617 App Store ratings on October 21, 2026. The iPhone version is a 208 MB download and needs iOS 16.4 or later. Location is checked before play in each state, as every regulator requires, and the West Virginia online guide explains how that check works at the state line.
iRush Rewards pays Bonus Store Points on every real-money stake, in the casino and the sportsbook alike. Points are spent in the Bonus Store on bonus money and on prizes the operator lists as cruises, concerts and sports experiences. Unlike Caesars or PENN apps, the scheme has no link to a casino floor card, Mountaineer’s included.
Review notes: limits and self-exclusion on BetRivers Casino
Players can set deposit, wager and time limits from the account menu and take a cool-off break. All three states run self-exclusion lists that bind BetRivers, and the app’s legal section prints 1-800-GAMBLER for New Jersey, Michigan and West Virginia. For this review, those tools are worth setting before the first deposit, not after.
